My name is Johanna from Germany and I have just started working as a marketing assistant in Bali.

Bali is probably well known as a holiday island, where you can spend the whole day at beautiful beaches and enjoy the sun. As example, here at the Balangan Beach.

However, the island has proved to be much more than this. The island has, like I was able to experience it by myself, beautiful sights that make Bali so unique. But there is also a dark side. The environmental awareness of the Bahasa is not very pronounced. Without mind they throw their garbage into the environment, the gases amplifies the greenhouse effect and Balis exotic beaches become dirty on purpose. Besides the wildlife has to suffer with the dirt and the pollution of the relatively small island as well.

In order not to sink into the waste, the Australian Mike O 'Leary, founder of the nonprofit organization Role Foundation, is actively involved in environmental protection and the recovery of Bali. Connected to a social program to help women get more education and affairs to their own lives, he helps with numerous voluntary to recover the nature itself from their exertions.
